Cultural differences No8 -smoking

ハンガリーに来て、最も残念に思えることが歩き煙草。
歩道には吸殻入れ付きのゴミ箱がそこここに設置されていることから、路上喫煙は法的にも認められているようだが、歴史地区の石畳に吸殻が投げ捨てられるのはいただけない。

反面、昨年の８月１日からは、煙草を買える店が限定され、「NEMZETI DOHÁNYBOLT」の看板を掲げる店以外では、煙草が買えなくなった。
NEMZETI DOHÁNYBOLTとは、国営の煙草販売店で、１８歳未満は入店も出来ないとのこと。

また、病院の入口近くや地下道では、喫煙が禁止されているということなので、近々歩き煙草も規制の対象になるのだろう。
